  • Black Brewing CoLocal Harvest DIPA – Wet Hop DIPA 8.1% | Hops from: Karridale Hop Farm

A celebration of our magnificent region, delivering the truly unique flavours of our land. Made with 100% locally grown barley, malted by Mallokup Malts in Capel. Our Brewers helped harvest the hop cones fresh from Karridale Hops, as a wet hop addition added less than 24hs off the bine. On the cold side we have backed it up with a Double Dry Hop using classic and new worlds varieties

  • Blasta BrewingSundowner Fresh Hop Pale – Wet Hop Pale Ale 5.0% | Hops from: South West Hops

Our Sundowner Fresh Hop Ale is a nod to the hop harvesters picking over what was a super hot weekend. Also to our brewers who stayed well after the sun had gone down to perfect this Fresh Hop Beer. Packed full of Geegelup Gold and Victoria, this beer is highly sessionable, packed with flavours of tropical stone fruit and guaranteed to be FRESH.

  • Boston Brewing CoCryogenic Wet Hop IPA – Wet Hop Cold IPA 6.5% | Hops from: South West Hops

Freshly picked hops from Great Southern Hops were flash frozen with liquid nitrogen and shattered like shards of glass, releasing the intense flavours within.

Our Fresh Hop Lager is made exclusively with WA malt from Mallokup Malt and generously hopped with the freshest Victoria hops, that we hand-picked with the legends at South-West Hops. It’s light in body with delicate aromas of peaches & cream, and mango.

  • CBCo BrewingPale Ale – Wet Hop Pale Ale 4.5% | Hops from: Margaret River Hops

Fresh Beedelup hops from Margaret River Hops give this American Style Pale Ale lively floral and citrus notes. A trio of malts lay down an assertive malt forward flavour, balanced by a firm lingering bitterness.

  • Fox FridayFresh Hop Clean Sweep Pilsner – Fresh Hop Pilsner 5.4% | Hops from: HPA (Victoria)

This beer is a twist on our Clean Sweep Pilsner. The hops were picked up at 9am from the HPA farms in Victoria and were in the beer by 1pm.  Not a shabby turn around.  The effect of the late addition Eclipse dry hop resulted in a very aromatic, almost orange-like perfume effect taking the Clean Sweep to the next level

  • Froth Craft BreweryLocals Only – Wet Hop Australian Lager 4.5% | Hops from: Margaret River Hops & Preston Valley Hops

Using Pilsner, Vienna, and Chit Malt from Mallokup Malting in Capel to provide a medium bodied lager base, then brewers chose to use Preston Valley Chinook as the bittering addition at the start of boil. At flame out we cooled the word to 80c and added 10kg each of Margaret River Flinders and Cluster into our mash tun to soak up that local hoppy goodness. This year we decided to pick the hops the day prior, knock out 50% humidity and then use the whole cone hops in a whirlpool addition. What we were left with after 2 weeks of fermentation and 4 weeks of cold conditioning, was an incredibly smashable WA Fresh Hop Lager. The Chinook provides a clean, distinct bitterness while the whole cone fresh hops of Flinders and Cluster provide a well-rounded citrus, floral character that leaves your taste buds begging for more.

The Final beer from Golden West, Crafted by the power brewers Tim and Tony, and the Chief Hop Rancher Chris at South West Hops. Rigor Mortis uses 40kg of Flinders hops showcasing flavours of Marmalade, Tapioca, wholegrain toast, and Tobacco.

The Beedelup is a juicy, hazy IPL with delicate notes of guava and pawpaw. We used fresh wet pubs from Great Southern hops.

  • Indian Ocean BrewingCostal Harvest – Wet Hop American Brown Ale 5.0% | Hops from: Karridale Hop Farm

Indi have made an American style Brown ale featuring both ‘wet’ and ‘fresh’ hops from Karridale, the variety is ‘Nugget’ grown right here in WA and delivered direct to us for our special brew. You can expect the usual toasty, nutty and bready components of a brown ale, but with a resinous, earthy vibe from the wet hops, layered atop these old world flavours enters some modern hop character from a fresh dry-hop, Nugget adds sweet citrus, pine, spice and peach notes.

  • InnateWA Bitter – Australian Bitter 5.0% | Hops from: Balinga Hops

A beer infused with the flavour of the land that fed it, designed to be a genuine expression of it’s West Australian ingredients. Brewed with fresh whole cone hops grown, nurtured and picked by hand at Balinga Hops in Balingup with malt from Mallokup Malt who source local barley from family run farms just outside of Capel.

A true seasonal release – only able to be made during the hop harvest window. We teamed up with Great Southern Hops this year, to get some vibrant and super fresh hop cones – they were picked in the morning and in kettle just after lunch. Using the hops ‘wet’ (ie not dried) delivers vibrant and complex hop characters. Very limited release, so make sure you give it a try while it’s available.

  • Lucky Bay BrewingSoutherly – Wet Hop IPL 4.0% | Hops from: Great Southern Hops

A slightly bitter, crisp lager reminiscent of our infamous southerly wind.  Limited fresh hops release –  hand-picked from Great Southern Hops with sprinklings of Esperance fresh hops.

  • Phat Brew Club + InnateThe Return Leg – Wet Hop West Coast IPA 6.0% | Hops from: South West Hops

  • Rocky Ridge BreweryCan I Pet that Wet Dog – Wet Hop XPA 4.2% | Hops from: South West Hops

For the 3rd year running, we have teamed up with our great mates at South West Hops to brew up a storm. Introducing our latest creation: an XPA based around their Geegelup Gold hop variety with a sprinkling of their Flinders for depth. Expect a crisp light body with a silky-smooth finish from an addition of oats. Aromas of tropical fruit and citrus interplay with melon and freshly cut hay.

  • Seasonal BrewingHarvvest Coast IPA – West Coast IPA 5.4% | Hops from: Karridale Hop Farm

A west coast pale brewed in collaboration with Karridale hop farm. A beer long in the works, brewer Kalle and farmer Trey met many years ago when Kalle was a fresh baby brewer. Over the years and many beers a friendship was formed and this brew is a reflection of it. Wet hopped with huge amounts of Victoria and Beedleup in delectable extra biscuity wort and finished off with a dry hop of pelletised Centennial, Chinook, & Columbus. Every hop in this moorish beverage has been harvested and added with love.

  • Shelter BrewingNeighbourhood Pale – Old School Wet Hop Pale Ale 4.5% | Hops from: Karridale Hop Farm + Preston Valley Hops
