The Venue

Bring the family & stay for the drinks and atmosphere

Built for families & fun

Our family built King Road Brewing Co for you and your family. In the beginning, we had a vacant block and a shed – the Cattle Shed. Now we have a dedicated venue where families come to relax, unwind and enjoy a drink and a meal. The aim of KRB is to provide you and your family with the highest quality food, beers and ciders on the market.

We have a stand-alone brewery where we handcraft our cider and beer creations. We also have a fully equipped bar and restaurant with a revolving summer/winter menu featuring classic pub meals and weekend specials. The Cattle Shed is now the main bar where we entertain our guests.

Located ideally between Perth and Mandurah, many of our guests see our venue as a perfect meeting spot right in the middle between north and south. People love us for our fun venue, family friendly facilities and tasty, value for money food and beverages.

We have always loved having fun and making great food and drinks for our family. Now we invite you and your family to enjoy the fun and hospitality. Everyone who comes to us becomes a part of the KRB family.

Entertainment Fridays

Our Hay Shed features live music most Friday nights over summer, with performances by local bands and cover acts at least once a month over the season.

We haven’t forgotten about the little guys, either, with our adventure playground keeping the kids entertained while you enjoy your meal. We also feature regular appearances by children’s entertainers, including The Avengers and The Transformers. There truly is something for everyone at KRB.

Weddings & Private Functions

In addition to a great venue for live music and children’s’ entertainment, KRB is also available for your wedding, party or corporate function.

The King Road venue can cater for up to 500 people with food and drink packages to suit your budget. With a private bar, relaxed atmosphere and close proximity to Perth, why not try us out for your next gathering?

The atmosphere

King Road captures the South West atmosphere, featuring a large restaurant and outdoor area. During the week, we are pretty relaxed, but once the weekend hits, you can expect KRB to be a festival of beer, food & madness!

Almost every part of our venue was constructed by our family using recycled materials. Rustic, recycled materials create an authentic, vintage feel to our venue. It doesn’t hurt that recycled materials are also better for the environment. Re-use and recycle is a key philosophy in the KRB ethos.

You’ll love coming to KRB for a meal and a drink in a relaxed, community atmosphere. The adventure playground lets the kids play safely within your sight while you enjoy your meal. KRB is your favourite down south pub right here in your own backyard.

Our Kitchen

While almost every part of our venue is constructed using recycled materials, our kitchen uses state of the art equipment to ensure the most cutting-edge technology in our culinary creations. In fact, our food is so good, some weekends we find ourselves a little overwhelmed with the sheer numbers of people who come to dine with us. With such high demand for our great food and beverages, we are at full capacity some weekends over the warmer months.

We understand how this impacts our guests and have taken steps to improve your experience. We are currently building a new kitchen that will provide us with a much higher capacity to serve meals and significantly reduce wait times for our guests. In the meantime, we ask you to please be patient with us during busy times, as sometimes there can be a wait for food – perfection takes time. But we promise the wait will be worth it.
